ACLTA's upcoming conference will be held 12-13th March 2015 (with a post-conference workshop on the 14th) at the beautiful harbourside Crowne Plaza Newcastle, NSW. Our theme for Conference 2015 is “Raising Our Voice for Children in Healthcare.”
This is a professional event for child life therapists, and all others interested in the psychosocial support of children and young people in healthcare.

Speakers from Australia and abroad will cover a range of topics, from new directions in child life therapy, paediatric pain management, resilience, advocacy and leadership, to play and wellbeing.
We are honoured to include on our program Dr Jane Edwards, from Deakin University; Carla Oliver, President of the Child Life Council (USA); Margo Ward, CEO of KidsXpress; Dr Susie Lord and Dr Elizabeth Kepreotes of the Children's Complex Pain Service, JHCH... and lots, lots more!
Our post-conference workshop will be facilitated by the internationally acclaimed Gopala from Rainbow Kids Yoga, presenting on "Kids Yoga in the Hospital".
