Wellness is a term being used more and more in healthcare. In this webinar Jack will introduce wellness and its main concepts for further understanding. One of the dimensions of wellness is 'play and work', and Jack will expand upon how play relates to wellness.
The 1 hour presentation will follow with 30mins for discussion and questions.
John Travis ('Jack') MD, is a physician and one of the founders of the wellness movement, opening the first wellness centre , The Wellness Resource Center, in 1975. He is current adjunct professor at RMIT's (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) university wellness programs and at California Institute of Integral Studies, and Jack has authored many books including the "Wellness Workbook", "Simply Well" and contributed to "Why Dads Leave: Insights and Resources for When Partners Become Parents" by Meryn G Callander.
