This webinar will give an overview of current understanding of trauma using neurobiology theories. Playful and creative intervention ideas that help children that have been highly stressed or traumatised will be shared within the context of the hospital environment.
The 1 hour presentation will follow with 30mins for discussion and questions.
Katherine Olejniczak is a Senior Child and Family Counsellor and trainer for the Australian Childhood Foundation. Katherine is a psychologist and certified play therapist and has interest in using play and creative arts therapies with children who have experienced trauma.
